Careers: Full-time

MKIV Tamper Operator

Operate specialist surfacing equipment within a coordinated track-work program.

About the role

Tamper operators run the machine at the centre of every surfacing program. Ironhorse operates MKIV tampers, including a configuration with the Jupiter II system designed in-house for transit rights of way.

Work follows the surfacing program: mainline, industrial, and transit blocks, often at night on transit work. Machine care is part of the job, not someone else's.
