Careers: Full-time

Track Foreman

Lead the field crew through railway construction and maintenance work.

About the role

Foremen run the crew on the ground. They translate the supervisor's plan into the day's tasks, keep machines and materials flowing, watch quality, and make sure the track is safe for traffic at the end of every work block.

Foremen are on the track with the crew for the full shift, usually on multi-day rotations away from home during the construction season. The role suits people who like running a tight, safe gang.
